Mr Yasir Khan is an experienced consultant ophthalmologist with over 20 years of clinical and research expertise in the UK. Based at Moorfields Eye Hospital, he serves as the medical retina lead consultant for the Moorfields North East Division and manages a wide range of complex eye conditions. His advanced expertise is underpinned by three prestigious fellowships completed at Moorfields Eye Hospital and Bristol Eye Hospital, specialising in medical retina, cataracts, and inflammatory eye diseases.
Alongside his clinical work, Mr Khan is deeply committed to teaching, research, and service development. He has trained and supervised doctors, optometrists, and nursing teams, and regularly teaches both in person and through digital platforms. His academic contributions include peer reviewed publications, clinical research papers, patient education materials, and co development of a Retinal FAF atlas used for postgraduate training and charitable initiatives.
