Webinar - Dry eye and blepharitis management in practice through case studies

Monday 1st December, 7.30 – 8.30pm

Online, led by Miss Sharmina Khan

This session will equip optometrists, GPs and other healthcare practitioners to:

·        Differentiate key subtypes of dry eye and blepharitis (anterior, posterior, rosacea-related, Demodex, menopause-associated) using clinical signs and diagnostic tools.

·        Apply a stepwise phenotype-driven management approach combining lid hygiene, anti-inflammatory therapy, and advanced in-office treatments (IPL, LipiFlow®, BlephEx®, LLLT).

·        Address systemic and lifestyle factors—including diet, hormonal status, and rosacea—that drive chronicity and recurrence.

·        Enhance patient counselling with guidance on anti-inflammatory diet and lifestyle modifications to complement in-office therapies and improve long-term outcomes.

Optometrists will receive 1 CPD point for attending this webinar.
